You see, it is in fact a gift, and when you bring your life into balance, you will find that there are ways of embracing this gift without having so much of the pain that accompanies it.
What the Angels say about this, is that sensitivity has been given to you because you are strong enough to be able to cope with it. As well as using this gift for your life purpose to help others in the world, your spirit is also growing through the experiences of what you encounter with this empathic ability. Here are some steps to help you bring your life into balance as a sensitive/empath.
1- Love yourself, give yourself some time and pamper yourself. Schedule this into your daily routine. Place your hands on your heart and send yourself love before you go to sleep.
2- Meditate daily, even if this is doing something which is quiet time out such as creative hobbies or exercise. This time out helps you to connect with the needs of your soul. If you can do a daily cleansing and energising visualisation at the end of the day, this helps with releasing energy and emotions you may have picked up during the day. This only needs to take around 5 minutes.
3- Try to spend your time around positive people and say no to demands that don't feel right or resonate with the needs of your spirit. And don't feel bad afterwards! The people who you surround yourself with are important, especially being spiritually sensitive, so try to associate with people who make you feel happy.
4- Release all guilt. As a sensitive you may feel that you have to do so much for others, and you may be prone to a sense of guilt for situations which are out of your control. Let this go now! Ask the Angels to help you with this and do some deep cleansing meditations, or if you wish, visit a local healer. As it's now time to take control of your life, and guilt is not a productive emotion for your spirit or life purpose.
5- Believe in yourself and create daily goals that you want to achieve. Write a list of what you want and try to stick to it without being distracted from outside circumstances. As a sensitive/empath you may find that other people's needs have taken priority and yours have taken a back seat, but now is the time for you to embrace your gifts and share them with the world! If you ever feel that you haven't achieved what you wanted too, don't beat yourself up! Just start again. Remember to make your goals small and achievable to start with. If you're unsure about what you want, focus on what brings you joy and makes you feel happy, and schedule spending some time for doing this every day.
6- Make one healthy change (such as eating more healthy or moving your body more) and maintain this for 28 days (after 28 days it will become part of your routine and you can then add others if you wish). As a sensitive it can be quite common to use food or unhealthy distractions to try and suppress the emotions that you feel from everything around you. But there are other ways to cope with these feelings, and this can include introducing more healthy habits to replace the unhealthy ones, as well as releasing the emotions through daily cleansing meditations. Don't put pressure on yourself to do too much, too soon as this can result in being overwhelmed, especially with being sensitive. Being healthy in mind and body can help you to be in a balanced place to achieve your goals. But don't put off acting on your goals until you have a healthy lifestyle, act on your goals today!
7- Write all the above action steps down on a piece of paper and place it somewhere you can see it easily.
So start putting these steps into practise and you will see how your life becomes more balanced and organised. If you wish, to start with you might just want to bring in one of these steps, or you may want to embrace them all.
