Within our society, we have become conditioned from a very early age about the goals we 'should' have and what we 'should' achieve in our lives. Our spiritual and emotional well being is often not included within the material focuses that are pumped into us from an early age, and many people may feel an emptiness because of having to constantly achieve material goals, which are void of the depth that our souls seek. This is not to say that some material goals are negative, quite the contrary as we need the material goals to create the balance in our lives as a human being with physical needs. But it is the spiritual and emotional welfare of people that is often left neglected and unfulfilled within the society many of us are living in.
So today is the time to start taking responsibility for your life, for your emotional well being and for your spiritual development. No longer be a condition of your surrounding circumstances, do not allow your thoughts to run away with you, start by becoming an observer of them. Through observing, you will gain an awareness of your internal processes and thought patterns. This awareness will then give you the power to change your thought patterns into thoughts that will manifest blessings, love and positivity into your life.
You see what is great about this, is that your thoughts create your feelings, so positive thoughts equals positive feelings! Where attention goes energy flows, so whatever you focus your thoughts on, will manifest within your reality. So take responsibility now to really start using your thoughts to create a happier life and remember that happiness is a journey, not a destination that starts in the present moment. To reach a sense of spiritual fulfilment it is also important to become aware of the needs of your spirit. This can be achieved through giving your spirit the chance to emerge, through having more control over your thoughts. As your spirit may have been over shadowed by the many thoughts running through your mind on a daily basis.
To allow your spirit to emerge, spend more time in nature, as her energy can support this process, use mindfulness meditation to calm your mind and connect within. Using any form of relaxation that helps you to reach a sense of calmness in both mind and body can also help this process.
Also remember that we are so much more than what society conditions us into thinking; we are creators, eternal beings and manifestors. Our energy will always carry on, and this life is only a small experience compared to the eternity of our spirit, however it is a chance for us to reach spiritual fulfilment and to create positive change in our life and the lives of others.
